Sati Foundation has once again sponsored two brochures. Both are lectures by Venerable Bhikkhu Ñāṇananda. They were translated into German by Susann Poppenberg and Hedwig Kren and are an enrichment for anyone interested in the Dhamma.

Vinītā
Sāmaṇerī Vinītā ist Deutsche und kennt die Aneñja Vihāra seit vielen Jahren. 2018 entschloss sich für ein Training unter der Anleitung von Ayya Phalanyani. Sie erhielt bereits am 19.12.2019 ihre Weihe zur Sāmaṇerī.
Rakkhitā
Sāmaṇerī Rakkhitā ist Schweizerin und fand ihren Weg in die Aneñja Vihāra über einen längeren Aufenthalt im Waldkloster Metta Vihara. 2018 zog sie in die Aneñja Vihāra und erhielt ihre Weihe zur Sāmaṇerī am 20.02.2020.
Saccikā
Sāmaṇerī Saccikā, ebenfalls Deutsche, praktizierte vor ihrem Einzug ins Nonnenkloster Aneñja Vihārain der burmesischen Tradition und war für einige Zeit Sayalay. Kurz darauf schloss sie sich der Aneñja Vihāra Gemeinschaft an und erhielt am 20.12.2020 ihre Weihe zur Sāmaṇerī.
Jutindharā
Sāmaṇerī Jutindharā gebürtig aus Kambodscha, lebte jahrelang ein typisches Haushälter-Leben im Allgäu, ganz in der Nähe der Aneñja Vihāra. Als Laienfrau unterstützte sie uns tatkräftig. Nach reiflicher Überlegung zog sie später ins Kloster und auch sie erhielt ihre Weihe zur Sāmaṇerī. Derzeit absolviert sie in ihrer Heimat ein Abhidhamma- und Vinayastudium.

Several years have passed since Vinītā, Rakkhitā, Saccikā and Jutindharā received the Sāmaṇerī ordination in the Aneñja Vihāra nunnery, the Bavaria, Germany. After intensive dhamma practice, all the aspirants are ready for the next step towards full ordination. Ayya Phalañāṇī Therī has been a Bhikkhunī for 10 years and is allowed to act as Pavattinī (ordination giver). Thus this year, the second Bhikkhunī ordination will take place in bavaria, Germany; the date is 2 July 2023. Ayya Sudhammā Mahatherī, who already assisted in the first Bhikkhunī ordination, will be the Master of Ceremonies

There will be travel and other expenses for the invited monks and nuns who will attend the ordination. The Sati Foundation would like to contribute to this special occasion and also give you an opportunity to do so. The Sati Foundation is pleased to support this Bhikkhunī ordination.

The Bhikkhunī Ordination ceremony will be recorded and dedicated to Ayya Khema in honor of her 100th birthday.
